Myrtha Pools has designed three new pools in Vukovar, a small town in Croatia where, at the beginning of 2017, the doors were opened to a new aquatic center featuring a contemporary design.
The building covers an area of over 5.000 m2 wide and stands on the same area where a public swimming pool existed in the 1960’s. That pool was destroyed during the war at the beginning of the 1990’s.
Designed to host swimming competitions, the new facility was conceived to support the promotion of sport, enhance the citizens’ quality of life and encourage the development of the town making the most of local tourism.
The center, which has a gym, a sauna and a wide food court to satisfy the needs of each guest, includes a 50 m indoor swimming pool and two outdoor swimming pools, The first one is reserved for learn to swim activities, while the another one is a free form pool, especially designed for leisure.
