CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) is an instrument that allows for the simulation of the behaviour of a fluid, ability to forecast its speed, temperature and other chemical-physical characteristics.
The application of this methodology in the pool field allows for the study of water circulation during the planning period.
The Myrtha Pools’ Research & Innovation Department, thanks to its expert in fluid dynamics, have developed specific techniques that allow the application of the CFD during the planning phase. The CFD is particularly useful with the complex geometries of freeform pools, where the draughtsman’s experience is not enough.
The simulation of the fluid-dynamic behaviour of the pool allows for the designer to make the distribution of the disinfection products more uniform, locating and eliminating the stagnation areas. This means a better quality of the water and lower operating costs.
The biggest benefit of the simulation models is the possibility of executing a comparative analysis between different solutions to select the most suitable in the beginning stage of the project.
