Two Myrtha Pools will be the home to the XXIII European Short Course Swimming Championships 2017
The pools – a competition pool 25*25m and a warm-up pool 25*15m – will be temporary installed at the occasion of 5 thrilling days of competitions between the biggest European swimmers.
The pools are installed at the Copenhagen Royal Arena: a modern sports venue opened in February 2017, designed to host till 6,500 people and different sports events: hockey, tennis and now – thanks to Myrtha – swimming competitions.
The XXIII European Short Course Swimming Championships 2017 will be the first international sport event hosted in this brand new facility.
The Myrtha Team – made of 23 technicians and 1 site manager – will complete the installation of the two pools in a record time of just a few days from Nov. the 30th till Dec. the 10th. Our guys will install the two pools featuring removable headwalls and Myrtha Track Start.
Speed of installation is a precious advantage peculiar of Myrtha Technology: thanks to its modular structure Myrtha is able to complete pools installation within tight schedules and in indoor location with space constraints and with no need to permanently anchor the structure to the floor. In this way also the dismantling phase right after the event is quick and smart!
In fact, from 18th to 22nd December the Myrtha team will proceed dismantling the pools leaving at Royal Arena only the memories of this amazing event!
See you in Denmark at Copenhagen from December the 13th till 17th!
