Myrtha Pools presents Pools for All: this cutting-edge project is the result of the combined efforts of Myrtha Pools and Pujol Arquitectura under FINA (Fédération Internationale de NAtation) endorsement, to develop truly sustainable aquatic centers world-wide.
In the last few years, FINA has increased its commitment, giving a huge contribution to the improvement of aquatic facilities, with the goal of making them more responsive to the needs of swimmers and communities.
Pools For All suggests different standardized solutions for the completion and the proper operation of aquatic facilities through the years. Aquatic Centers should be designed in compliance with swimming discipline norms and be sustainable considering three main dimensions: profits, social and environment.
One of the aims of the program is to improve facilities that are highly efficient, financially self-sustaining, with minimal impact on the environment and energy consumption throughout the life of the venue.
Pools for All classifies 5 different categories of Aquatic Centers according to the area and services available. Moreover, it provides support in the areas of facility management and operational tasks helping with a strategic development of daily activities programs and scheduling of sports events to attract a wider audience.
The project has been launched during the 4th FINA World Aquatics Convention in Windsor, Canada (3 – 5 December 2016) at the occasion of the FINA Swimming World Championship (25m).
