Myrtha Pools has been awarded during the 2014 WWA Annual Symposium and Exhibition, occurred in Las Vegas on October 28th-29th, for the installation of the pools and rivers at the “Wet ‘n’ Wild” waterpark in Sidney, inaugurated the last December. The WWA (World Waterpark Association) is an international association that meet waterparks managers, builders and engineers. During the Annual Symposium, the association recognizes the most worthy members and rewards the best projects.
This year the Leading Edge Awards awarded the “Wet ‘n’ Wild” project in Sydney, considered the most technologically advanced waterpark in the world. Roberto Colletto, CEO of Myrtha Pools, received the prize won by the Company.
The park is provided with a huge wave pool, a 2,500sm river, more than 40 slides and a wide children area with pools and splash pads. The complex covers a 20hectars surface and is one of the biggest and most important parks in the world.
For the construction of the river and the pools, Myrtha Pools used its state of the art Myrtha Technology, chosen for its versatility, the long lasting performance and the low maintenance required.
