The FINA Men’s Water Polo World League Super Final 2015 took place in Bergamo, Italy, from June 23-28. The competitions of this international event, organized by FINA, FIN and Pallanuoto Bergamo, were held in a Myrtha pool: a 50m outdoor pool, located in the Piscine Italcementi Sports Centre. This Olympic pool, built using Myrtha Technology, hosted all the 24 competitions of the eight best teams in the world (Australia, Brazil, China, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, Serbia and USA), and is equipped with 16 Starting Blocks Myrtha Track-Start, two removable headwalls, built-in steps, glass-mosaic pool markings and Strahlenturbulenz inlet system. In the Village area of the Sports Centre, other special events have accompanied the water polo competitions: musical events, shows, exhibitions of handmade objects, food service and a shuttle service that accompanied groups of people from the Italcementi Sports Center to the exhibition site EXPO 2015. The complex covers a 29.000m2 surface and includes a 6.300 m2 area which hosts 5 pools (two indoor and three outdoor), a training room and a multifunctional sports facility. The Piscine Italcementi Sports Centre is used by sports clubs as a training facility and it hosts high-level competitions as well as swimming classes and other recreational activities.
