The XVII edition of the Pan Am Games took place in Toronto, Canada, from July 10th to 26th, 2015. The Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre, the sports center of the University of Toronto Scarborough, hosted the aquatic competition of this important event. In this facility, realized in 2013, Myrtha Pools installed two 52x25m pools, a competition and a training, both built using Myrtha technology. The complex, built according to LEED principles of ecosostenibility, features an arena of 6,000 seats and is the only aquatic facility in the area that meets international competition standards and the first facility with a warm up pool.
The competition pool is provided with two removable headwalls and two movable bulkheads, that allow several activities in the pool. The training pool features a removable headwall, two movable bulkheads and two movable floors 25×12,5m, to provide a variety of shallow-water fitness activities and facilitate access for individuals with disabilities.
This sports center of the University of Toronto Scarborough is at the disposition of the students and hosts swimming and diving competition. In this facility Myrtha Pools also installed a 25x21m diving pool, built using Myrtha Technology.
