
Myrtha Pools has recently signed an agreement with the Turkish Swimming Federation, represented by Mr. Onat Yildrim, for the realization of a new swimming pool in the city of Erzurum, Eastern Anatolia.
Erzurum is at an altitude of 2,000 metres, in one of the largest and
most important European ski district, and the swimming pool will be
installed inside one of the two ice stadium which have been built for
the “University Winter Games” held in Erzurum from 27 January to 6
February 2011. The 50 metre Myrtha Pool will come with
all accessories and solutions needed for the training of the athletes at
altitude, and foresees, besides all standard competition accessories, a
movable bulkhead and the new Virtual Trainer system, for monitoring the performances of the swimmers while training in the pool.
This agreement is the outcome of an intensive collaboration born in the last few years between us and the Turkish Swimming Federation, of which Myrtha Pool is Sponsor and Official Partner.
