Myrtha Pools continues the partnership with Salvation Army thanks to the donation given by Joan Kroc, wife of the founding father of Mac Donald.
In 2003 Joan Kroc gave Salvation Army, a well-known private charity, 1,5 million dollars to be used for the realization of facilities dedicated to children and families. In fact all Kroc centres provide structures such as sports centres, pools, theatres and recreational zones.
The Salvation Army planned the realization of 31 Kroc centres all around U.S.A. and has favoured Myrtha Technology for the centres built until today.
In 2009 Myrtha Pools has realized, other than the Kroc centres of Coeur d’Alene and Salem, other three important centres: Grand Rapids, Philadelphia and Kerrville.
In the Grand Rapids centre Myrtha Pools has built a Myrtha technology pool with overflow system for a total of 150 sqm water surface. The pool has a variable height ranging from 0 to 2.20 mt and it has hydro massages and jets. The pool has a freeform shape with fingerwalls to relax in the middle of the pool.
Even the Kroc centre of Philadelphia has been realized using Myrtha Technology. The pool, an overflow system with mosaic, is ideal for both training and recreational activity and it measures 25x9 mt with a constant height of 1,8 mt.
Ultimately Myrtha Pools has built two pools in the Kerrville Kroc centre, one for training and one for free time. The first one has a regular structure of 23x8 mt with height ranging from 1 to 1,50 mt, with skimmer and mosaics. The second one has a freeform shape with a water surface of 89 smq. The peculiarity is the beach entry that offers the sensation of walking into the water as if it was the sea. The pool goes from 0 to 1 mt and it is ideal for fun and relax.
Myrtha Pools has collaborated with Salvation Army for years creating sports centres for fun and high level education.
