Mirabilandia first opened as thematic park, and soon became the second largest in Italy. In 2004 it enlarged with a water area, called “Mirabilandia Beach”, as big American parks, which often combine “dry” with “wet” entertainment.
The huge lagoon built by Myrtha Pools – over 3.000 sq.m surface! – was awarded with Parksmania Award 2004 as best waterpark. It has, in the middle, a broad castle for children with slides, fountains and other toys. The palms and white sand surrounding the lagoon are fascinating, and give the park a Caribbean scenario.
