The Myrtha pre-engineered modular swimming pool was initially a German patent, enhanced and refined by Myrtha Pools. The challenge faced by Myrtha was to design a modular swimming pool using modern materials that eliminate the historic problems of traditional pool construction and maintenance. The exclusive Myrtha solution consists in using stainless steel where static and dynamic strength is required (wall structure) and concrete where a simple flat surface (the floor) is needed.
Myrtha pool walls have a permanently laminated hard PVC membrane bonded to the low carbon stainless steel to ensure longevity and perfect waterproofing. This special grade of PVC is resistant to UV and the aggressive pool water. It has a soft touch, it’s easy to clean and carries the guarantee of a maintenance-free lifetime.
The vertical panels are assembled on a footing of reinforced concrete, cast around the perimeter of the pool. The panels are bolted together and to an upper and lower structural profile. At each panel joint, a sturdy buttress provides exceptional rigidity to the structure, combined with an ability to withstand the highest degree of seismic activity. |
