The 9th edition of BCN International Swimming Pool Exhibition – the biennial international exhibition about the swimming pool world – is held in Barcelona from October 20th to 23rd. A lot of new ideas will welcome the visitors from all over the world. It is in fact no accident that it is held in Spain, since it is the second European market for residential pools with its almost a million pools.
Many topics will be dealt with this year but particular attention will be paid to environment and to a sensible use of pool water. Science and industry are already working in that direction to develop new solutions and applications to improve the exploitation of water resources.
Distinctive feature of this 9th edition is a wide area about health, fitness and beauty, which have led in the last few years to the construction of a large number of thermal centres, thalassotherapy centres and hotel spas.
