The Montage Beverly Hills is in the heart of Beverly hills, between Canon and Beverly Drives, just North of Wilshire Boulvard, the most famous and well known district in South California for its luxury shops and restaurants.
The whole hotel, from the furniture of its 201 rooms (55 of which are suits) to its external architecture and gardens, is a homage to both the old Hollywood style and modern luxury. It is inspired to the Spanish Revival architecture and Mediterranean design and it recalls the everlasting elegance of the South Californian landowners.
It offers a Spa area of 20,000 sqm with swimming pools and relax areas connected the ones to the others, showers, hydrotherapy baths, saunas, herb steam baths, hydro massages. Comfortable and elegant relax halls offer a comfort zone with suffused lights and fireplaces. 17 rooms have been structured for beauty treatments, 12 for massages, and 5 for humid treatments; a pool only for hydrotherapy and a Vichy shower that allows water treatments to be carried out in couple. At last, the fitness centre offers cardiovascular and weight workout equipment. In another room also gymnastics, Yoga, stretching and private lessons are available.
Myrtha Pools has supplied and installed five swimming pools made with their patented RenovAction© Technology: the outdoor pool dimensions are 13.5 x 5 m. The indoor pools are in the spa area and their dimensions are 5 x 2 m, 6 x 4 m (filled with mineral water), 4 x 5 m and 3 x 2.5 m. All of them are 1 m deep.
In April 2009 the Montage Beverly Hills was the first hotel in South California and one of the four hotels in the world that were assigned the Gold LEED certification (Leadership Energy and Environmental Design) by the US Green Building Council, for its design, construction and products that are environment friendly. The project is considered a facility with low environmental impact: an efficient and healthy place where to live and work.
