"Dear Friends,
as you may imagine, I've spent quite an important part of my life in a swimming pool.Training for long hours and competing in the swimming pools all over the World! After winning 7 Gold Olympic Medals in Munchen, I continued to be involved in swimming pools, advising Hotels, Clubs, Swimming Schools, Communities on many aspects of the swimming activity.
I'm a Master swimmer also now, training regularly twice a week. Swimming is my life.
In the long hours I spent in a swiming pool, very often I've noticed something disturbing, even in the best built pools: it was the paint or the marsite chipping off, a tile or a mosaic piece missing here and there, the tile grout half corroded and missing, a "shubby" aspect notwithstanding the pool's manager efforts and the big money invested in the project.

What did impress me , above all, before knowing of the technique,was the colour of the pool, which rendered the water cristal clear as I've never seen before, and the impression of looking to something familiar but very modern, reassuring in both ways: the tradition and the innovation.

The visit to the Company in Italy is amazing. You may hardly believe a swimming pools manufacturing plant may be so impressive, clean, running smoothly, from the computer operated manufacturing lines to the Reasearch and Development Laboratory, from the Design Groups organised by languages ( Myrtha sells all over the World) to the futuristic Communication Center, you are not supposed to find in a Company of just 200 employees!
Now I'm on board: my name adds a warranty to the Customer. Believe me: in an Olympic contest among the pools manufacturers Myrtha would win 8 Gold Metals!
