Myrtha Milano, a space for dialogue between water and architecture

In recent years, the Myrtha Milano showroom has established itself as a space for dialogue between the worlds of design, architecture, and the culture of water. Located on Via della Spiga, in the heart of Milan’s fashion district, the showroom is now a place for meeting, learning, and inspiration, designed to welcome professionals, architecture firms, journalists, and key industry stakeholders. At the center of this strategy is a program of educational sessions dedicated to some of the leading architecture firms, with the aim of exploring the role of water as an architectural, design, and wellness element.

Throughout 2025, the program involved some of the most influential names on the Italian architecture scene, including Studio Thun, Marco Piva, Lombardini22, Park Associati, Studio 967, Studio ACPV, AMDL Circle – Michele De Lucchi, and Studio De.Tales. Alongside these activities, the One Works and Marco Piva studios also visited Myrtha Pools’ headquarters, located just a few minutes from Lake Garda. These visits offered valuable opportunities to explore the company’s expertise directly at the heart of the brand’s production site, gaining a closer understanding of its technologies, processes, and design vision.

The Milan showroom has also come to life through its collaboration with Casabella Formazione, which brought two evenings of particular cultural value to Myrtha Milano, created for a selected audience of architects and interior designers.

In May 2025, the space hosted a screening of the documentary film dedicated to Carlo Scarpa, in the presence of director Silvia Siberini and Stefano Croci: an opportunity to rediscover the relationship between water, light, and architecture in the poetic vision of one of the great masters of twentieth-century Italian architecture. In October of the same year, the showroom hosted Green Over Gray, the documentary dedicated to Emilio Ambasz. The film, which opened the Milano Design Film Festival, was introduced by its author, architect Francesca Molteni, offering a reflection on the relationship between nature, architecture, and the urban landscape.

Looking ahead to 2026, the calendar continues with a program of Lunch&Learn sessions and educational events for some of the most authoritative names in contemporary architecture. During Fuorisalone, Myrtha Milano also took part in the Durini Design District with four evenings dedicated to the design and architecture community. These events were conceived to open the showroom to a broader dialogue through talks, presentations, and moments of exchange on the theme of water as a design language.

From this perspective, Myrtha Milano has also become a privileged point of contact with the press and specialist media. The showroom offers journalists a direct context in which to explore the vision of Myrtha Pools and tell the story of water not only as a product, but as a design, cultural, and urban theme.

The result of a long-term strategic vision, Myrtha Milano is increasingly positioning itself as a credible partner for the world of architecture, helping to promote a design culture in which water, in its aesthetic, functional, and wellness-related dimensions, becomes a defining feature of spaces.

From theory to practice, one of the upcoming initiatives will also include a tour starting from the Myrtha showroom and taking architects, designers, and journalists to discover some of Milan’s rooftop pools, from the Vertigo terrace at nhow Milano to the Casa Brera hotel in Porta Nuova, from Hotel VIU Milan to NH Collection CityLife. This journey is designed to turn storytelling into experience and to show how water can become an integral part of a city’s architectural and urban identity.
