Seven years of making waves: Myrtha Pools India turns 7

On May 30, 2019, Myrtha Pools India began its journey with just three employees and a clear belief: that the country’s aquatic infrastructure was ready for a new phase of development. Seven years later, that vision has taken shape through Olympic-size pools, championship venues, high-performance centers, and a growing community of partners, athletes, and sports administrators across the country.

The early years were about earning trust in a new market. In 2020, that trust translated into action when Myrtha Pools India secured its first public project: an Olympic-size pool with a movable bulkhead in Karnataka. It was an important milestone, confirming the team’s ability to deliver international-standard infrastructure for institutions and communities alike. A year later, in 2021, came another first: the country’s inaugural RenovAction project in Punjab, showcasing Myrtha’s pool renovation technology and proving that upgrading existing facilities to meet modern requirements was not only possible, but practical.

Then came 2022, and a project that would become a defining reference for Myrtha Pools India. The Veer Savarkar Sports Complex represented the team’s most ambitious undertaking to date, a landmark facility designed to support major aquatic events and long-term sports development. That ambition was confirmed in 2025, when the Veer Savarkar Sports Complex hosted the Asian Aquatics Championships, one of the continent’s most prestigious aquatic events, bringing together elite swimmers from across Asia. For Myrtha Pools India, it was a significant endorsement of the quality and reliability of the infrastructure delivered. And the story does not end there. With India awarded the 2030 Commonwealth Games, the Veer Savarkar Sports Complex is set to welcome athletes from more than 70 nations, marking another important step for Indian aquatics on the international stage.

What makes seven years worth celebrating is not only one project, but the breadth of a growing portfolio. Myrtha Pools India has delivered facilities across a wide range of contexts: university pools bringing competitive swimming to campuses; India’s first public Para High Performance Center in Gujarat, supporting para-athletes with international-standard training facilities; the venue for the 2026 National Games in Meghalaya; pools for the Armed Forces; and prestigious private sports academies, including centers of excellence dedicated to elite training.

The team that began with three people in a single office has grown into a multi-city operation, with new offices established in Delhi and Mumbai, and a larger headquarters to support the scale of the work. More colleagues, more expertise, and more capacity to serve a country where demand for modern sports infrastructure continues to grow. Across Europe, the Americas, and beyond, Myrtha Pools has long been associated with pools where records are broken and athletes pursue their highest ambitions.

In India, that same story is now being written one project at a time.
