In Domžale, just north of Ljubljana, a long-awaited renovation has transformed the local swimming complex from a single pool into an outdoor facility with three main pools.
Featuring pools built with Myrtha technology, the renovated complex brings together facilities for competitive swimmers, families and young children. At its center is a 50-meter competition pool equipped with removable headwalls and Myrtha Track Start blocks. It can host national swimming competitions while also accommodating training and community use.
The recreation pool provides space for learn-to-swim programs and recreational swimming, with a water slide for younger visitors. A spa pool sits on either side: one has hydromassage seating, while the other features neck massage fountains and hydromassage jets. Concealed LED lighting follows the contours of both pools, and a shared sunbathing area connects them to form a wellness zone.

A shallow baby pool completes the aquatic facilities. Its beach entry, concealed overflow edge and playful fountains cater to the youngest visitors. A slip-resistant finish provides traction, while Myrtha Soft Floor creates a softer surface underfoot.
The grounds also include children’s playgrounds, an outdoor fitness area, table tennis facilities and badminton courts. For the Municipality of Domžale, the renovation brings a wider range of opportunities for sports, recreation and relaxation together in one public facility.
