Virtual Trainer

The Myrtha Pools Virtual Trainer, developed in cooperation with Indico Technologies, is an innovative patented system used to pace training sessions for competitive swimmers.

The Virtual Trainer can be programmed with a wireless remote control, a laptop which is included with the system, or a smartphone. Any of those devices will control the waterproof, sheathed LED strip that runs along the entire length of the pool. LED strip lengths are available for 25- and 50-meter pools.

The Virtual Trainer can be programmed with a wireless remote control, a laptop which is included with the system, or a smartphone. Any of those devices will control the waterproof, sheathed LED strip that runs along the entire length of the pool. LED strip lengths are available for 25- and 50-meter pools.

The LED strip can be placed either on the pool floor, or at the water’s surface alongside the lane line. At the beginning of the training session, the strip receives pre-programmed impulses that progressively switch on the LED lights, according to a previously established time, and for a specific number of laps. The athlete’s point of reference is the constant light flow that can be easily followed. The LED intensity allows for perfect visibility in any light condition.

This helpful training tool is available for either temporary or permanent installation on the bottom of the pool. It can manage programs for up to eight-lanes, with as few as one or as many as six swimmers per lane. In a setting with multiple swimmers, each follows a differently colored light.

The Virtual Trainer is distributed exclusively by Myrtha Pools.
