Australian Swimming Championships: 2 more World Records in a Myrtha pool!

The curtain has fallen on the Australian Swimming Championships of 2022, an event that pooled the efforts of more than 600 Australian athletes and featured show-stopping performances. The 9,000 fans who flocked to sessions in the SA Aquatic & Leisure Center in Adelaide saw stellar competition, including a pair world records set in the Myrtha competition pool. Zac Stubblety-Cook’s effort in the 200-meter breaststroke and Ariarne Titmus’ stellar swim in the 400 freestyle raise the number of world records established in a Myrtha pool to a staggering total of 152. Myrtha, an Italian company which has become a global leader in aquatics, has been a FINA partner since 2009. In addition to our sincere compliments to the athletes who provided the great show, Myrtha Pools wishes to commend the SA Center for capably staging such a prestigious and important event, while at the same time staying true to its role as a provider of swimming lessons, water safety and the overall benefits of the aquatic arts.
