Myrtha at the Illinois State Championship Series

Myrtha Pools was honored to be part of the Illinois high school girls and boys state championship series at FMC Natatorium in the Chicago suburb of Westmont.

On the last weekend of February, the Illinois boys championship meet was decided in the stellar facility. One state record was established, as diver Nolan Harrison recorded an 11-dive total of 569.50. Many swimming records were threatened but not quite broken, a testament to the rich swimming background in Illinois. Fans were delighted with both the pools and the overall setting, with three-sided seating, superb sightlines and raucous fan support for all the racing. Individual champions were recognized by claiming their designated spot atop one of the fantastic Myrtha flow-through bulkheads at the turn end of the racing course.

It marked the first time that Illinois has conducted its state championship meets in all-deep racing waters.
Myrtha Pools served as the sponsor of the coaches hospitality room during both the girls and boys meets, providing a great platform for further educating team leaders and administrators about the many merits of Myrtha.
