SEA Games and Myrtha Pools: a story of successes renewed

The South East Asian Games 2019 comes alive with the renowned diving pool built for the occasion by Myrtha.

Myrtha Pools achieved its 4th participation in the SEA Games with an international and cutting-edge project. In fact, in the New Clark City Aquatic Center, Myrtha has designed and installed an Olympic sized competition pool and a training pool, in addition to the diving well. Three permanent pools that even at the end of the 30th edition of the SEA Games will be ready to host national and international sports events and will become a reference point for the province of Tarlac.

The Myrtha road travelled alongside the SEA Games tells more than 15 years of successes, starting with the 22nd edition held in Hanoi in Vietnam in 2003. On that occasion Myrtha built two Olympic swimming pools – one outdoor and one indoor – as well as a diving pool. In 2011 it was Palembang and Jakarta (Indonesia) where Myrtha built a competition Olympic pool and a diving pool using our Renovaction technology.

Myrtha’s next SEA Games appearance was in 2013 in Naypyidaw (Myanmar). In the “real city of the sun” (Naypyidaw) two identical aquatic centers were built – one civil and one military – in which Myrtha installed an Olympic swimming pool, a diving pool and a training pool respectively. A winning combination between Myrtha and SEA Games that confirms the slogan of the current edition: “We Win As One”.

During this competitions 23 SEA Games’ aquatic records have been smashed as well as 4 Tokyo 2020 Olympic qualifications in the new Myrtha Pool. Congratulations to all the swimmers!
