Harmony Of The Seas

361m long, 47m large and 72m heigh: this is Harmony of the Seas, the world’s biggest ship able to welcome up to 5.400 guest and 2.100 crew’s members.

Royal Caribbean creates this new jewel of the seas with 18 floors, two of them reserved to the crew, featuring 16 decks where to have fun and 7 distinct neighborhoods, each one with amazing and unique attractions.

The real enchanting new attraction of Harmony of the Seas is actually signed by Myrtha Pools: the exhilarating multilevel Perfect Storm slides (2 Aquatube and 1 Space Bowl). Twists and breathtaking curves run from the highest deck of the ship at 30m on sea level, on the way down at the highest possible speed.

The water attraction is the tallest slide at sea, running for 5 decks and including overhanging transparent sections suspended at the 12th floor for a true adrenaline experience.

The installation of Myrtha Pools slides and of the whole cruise ship has been done in the STX shipyard in St. Nazaire, France. The installation of this 225.000 tons giant represented a challenge first because of the harsh weather and of course because of the complexity of the site. In fact, in the shipyard many companies worked together at the same time, with difficult installation phases, especially when assembling slides overhanging sections at height. Total two years and half of works to achieve an extraordinary result where excellence service for guests is the must.
