San Jacinto High School
The San Jacinto High School aquatic centre project has met all the lofty expectations that the school district placed upon it. In fact, on the eve of its opening many were referring to it as the jewel of the San Jacinto valley, thanks to cutting-edge facility design and top-rate technologies.
The main attraction of the complex is the 25-yard by 38-metre vessel built by Myrtha Pools which allows for a large group of athletes to train for competitive swimming during the school year. The school district will also use the pool for water safety instruction as part of the physical education curriculum.
The project has been met with enthusiasm from not only swimmers and coaches in the competitive sports world, but also district administrators and civic-minded people who saw the glaring need for a pool in this community.
