The Bolles School

Jacksonville, Florida

The Bolles School is a private college preparatory day and boarding school located in Jacksonville, Florida. Bolles’ six-decade legacy of swimming dominance will continue with their new 25-meter by 25-yard Myrtha pool. The pool was previously used at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino for the International Swimming League (ISL) Championship that produced world records and featured Bolles swimming alumni.  The pool was temporarily installed for the two-day ISLeague Championship in late December before it was disassembled and moved to Jacksonville.

The pool has an 8-foot minimum depth and full springboard diving facilities, which allows Bolles coaches to have the resources to prepare student-athletes for the latest evolutions in NCAA-level competitions.

Our new pool facility can host professional-level elite competitions and entry-level competitive experiences that our parents, athletes, and guests can take pride in,” said Peter Verhoef, Bolles Head Coach and Aquatics Director.
