Myrtha Reformas
Public swimming pools are dynamic facilities, used daily by communities, schools and organisations. Carrying out work on these facilities means improving performance and safety without disrupting services any more than is necessary.
Myrtha systems, including through initiatives such as RenovAction, enable existing pools to be refurbished with precision, adapting to existing conditions and reducing both the duration and complexity of the works.
Every project starts with an existing structure, often built using outdated technologies and standards.
Myrtha’s modular approach, which forms the basis of RenovAction technology, allows work to be carried out directly on the existing tank, integrating new structural elements and waterproofing systems.
This solution makes it possible to preserve the original infrastructure whilst improving its functionality, durability and overall quality.
Technologies
-
RenovAction. Structural renovation of the pool
RenovAction is a technology developed for the total or partial renovation of existing swimming pools, based on the use of modular stainless steel panels coated with a layer of hot-laminated PVC.
The panels are installed inside the existing pool, allowing for the renovation of the walls, floor, and overflow channel without demolishing the original structure. The system can be applied to the entire pool or to individual elements, adapting to the specific needs of the project.
-
Myrtha Skin. A new pool surface
Myrtha Skin is a specialised solution for refurbishing the interior surfaces of swimming pools. Consisting of Myrtha stainless steel coils, it is a thinner and more flexible version of the traditional panel, designed to be applied directly to existing walls and floors.
This system creates a new, continuous, waterproof and uniform surface, enhancing the pool’s appearance and simplifying long-term maintenance.
Reduced lead times, minimal disruption
Speed of installation is a key factor for public facilities. Faster works mean shorter closure periods and a quicker return to use by the community. Thanks to pre-engineered systems and non-invasive installation methods, construction times can be significantly reduced.
Adaptability to existing conditions
Every facility has different characteristics. Solutions such as Myrtha Skin allow a new waterproof surface to be created within the existing pool, adapting to complex geometries, structural constraints and contexts, even in older buildings.
The benefits of Myrtha technologies for refurbishments
-
Reduction in plant downtime
-
Less invasive procedures than reconstruction
-
Adaptability to existing structures and complex contexts
