Herning 2013, LEN Championships (25m)

The 17th edition of the European LEN Short Course Championships took place in Herning, Denmark, from December 12th to 15th, 2013.
The event has been hosted in the Jyske Bank Boxen, a spectacular venue especially built for concerts and sporting events, which can accomodate up to 12,500 spectators.
Myrtha Pools has been chosen by LEN (Ligue Européenne de Natation) for the installation of two 25 m temporary pools inside the Jiske Bank Boxen, dedicated to this international event, for the first time in Denmark.
Both the swimming pools, a warm-up and a competition, were equipped with removable headwalls and competition accessories and have been dismantled at the end of the event.
The Italian Swimming Federation attended the event, announcing in advance the composition of the National Swimming Team, which was composed by 34 athletes.
