The Newton White Athletic Center Natatorium at Johns Hopkins University has been renovated by Myrtha.
After Phase One in 2023, which introduced a stationary Myrtha bulkhead, the project moved into Phase Two, focusing on a complete refurbishment of the pool tank. Thanks to RenovAction technology, the aging concrete pool was upgraded without full demolition, reducing both project time and overall costs. The original tile-lined interior walls were replaced with Myrtha stainless-steel panels, creating a modern, low-maintenance surface.
The bulkhead was also upgraded into a movable system, allowing the pool to shift seamlessly between a 25-yard course, a 25-meter course, a water polo layout, and additional programming needs. The project was developed with aquatic consultant WTI and completed by Myrtha distributor Main Line Commercial Pools.
