August 1987. … For the very first time in the history of international swimming events, a temporary pool was built for the LEN Championships in Strasbourg.
Myrtha Pools produced and installed an above ground 50x21m temporary Competition pool, that was used for training and warm-up sessions. After the Championships, the pool has been dismantled and permanently reinstalled exactly with the same dimensions at ‘Europa’ International Competition Center, in Canet en Roussillon, France.
