Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre

The Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre (WIATC) has recently been inaugurated in the city of Windsor, Canada.

The center has been built with the aim to create a structure designed to host international swimming competitions as well as aquatic and training activities. For those reasons the WIATC features a spectator seating area with a capacity of 900 people (reserved to competition events), recreational area, meeting rooms, fitness area, offices and rest stop.

Myrtha Pools installed 5 pools in the aquatic center using Myrtha technology. Among the pools is a competition pool that measures 71x25x2,0-5,2m and features two movable bulkheads and a movable floor. These features allow up to 9 different pool configurations to meet every competition and community need. The pool also includes a 5.2m depth diving area equipped with a dive tower with five platforms and springboards at different heights.

Myrtha Pools has also installed the pools for the recreation area which include a wave pool of 44x23m, a river of 44x16m, a splash-pad of 26x20m and an fitness pool of 14x7,5m.
