Jon Cleveland’s tenure at Myrtha Pools helps illustrate the larger themes animating the growth of our company. A three-time Olympian for Canada, Jon claimed a bronze medal with the breaststroke leg of the 400-meter medley relay in 1992. He was a heavily decorated competitor at the highest levels of swimming competition and secured a grand total of 33 Canadian national titles. Following the ’96 Olympics, he started putting his broadcast journalism degree to good use, beginning as a sports anchor in London, Ontario before moving on to produce cable news programming in current home base of Dallas, Texas. Concurrent with those years, Jon remained plugged into the competitive swim scene with club head coaching responsibilities around Dallas. He eventually joined Myrtha Pools in 2015 with broad responsibilities as regional sales/marketing manager for Texas and the Ozarks, along with the Northeastern states.
Since then, he has helped advance Myrtha in a multitude of ways in markets distinctly different from one another. Twice he has led the Myrtha sales group in yearly business, and recently saw his role expand to include management of all of the Eastern states, where he is Sales and Marketing Director. Also keeping Jon steadily immersed in activity has been parenting daughter Hattie (a recent graduate of the Jonn Jay College of Criminology) and younger twin brothers Fin and SC. Within our organization, Jon has become known for delivering major projects, doggedly pursuing creative applications of our growing toolkit and doing so in a cheerfully composed manner that helps everyone on the team learn something new about Myrtha Pools.
