Pool Renovation
A new life for existing pools.
Upgrade works can address the entire pool or focus on specific areas, such as the perimeter or overflow gutters.
Developed around the same modular principles as Myrtha technology, RenovAction works with the existing pool infrastructure, transforming aquatic facilities and preparing them for new functions, current standards and evolving user expectations.
Core components of RenovAction technology
-
Stainless-steel structure
In pool upgrade projects, RenovAction introduces a new stainless-steel panel structure within the existing pool tank, limiting the need for extensive demolition. The modular system uses mechanically fastened components, with no on-site structural steel welding, helping to reduce long-term corrosion risks. Engineered to accommodate existing site conditions and structural constraints, it enables accurate installation, reliable performance and an extended service life for the facility.
-
Integrated waterproofing system
RenovAction creates a new watertight system within the original pool structure. The stainless-steel wall panels are factory-laminated with a hard PVC layer, while the pool floor is lined separately with a reinforced PVC membrane. Panel joints and wall-to-floor connections are carefully hot-welded and sealed, forming a continuous waterproofing system designed to deliver dependable long-term performance in ageing or damaged pools.
-
Finishes and design flexibility
This technology enables the pool to be redesigned within the constraints of the original structure. A broad selection of finishes allows both appearance and functionality to be upgraded with limited intervention. Edge details, overflow configurations and integrated acrylic elements can be customised for each project, strengthening the architectural identity of the facility while enhancing the user experience.
A sustainable alternative to full reconstruction. RenovAction restores value to ageing or non-compliant pools by retaining existing infrastructure and limiting invasive demolition.
RenovAction uses modular, PVC-laminated stainless-steel panels with an integrated waterproofing system, installed within the existing pool tank on aligned rails and supports. This approach reduces major civil works and eliminates the need for on-site structural steel welding.
It enables efficient installation, even in complex or constrained environments, reducing operational disruption and allowing facilities to return to service sooner. At the same time, it can support a wider upgrade of the pool geometry, integrating new activity zones and modernised systems into the existing facility and creating new opportunities for aquatic use.
From Olympic venues and community aquatic facilities to hotels, resorts and water parks, RenovAction can be adapted to a wide range of environments through customised upgrade solutions and targeted interventions.
-
Sport. In competition pools, every detail matters.
In competition and community aquatic facilities, RenovAction enables existing pools to be upgraded to meet relevant international aquatic standards, integrate new sporting features and improve water circulation through targeted, low-impact works.
Its modular design limits major civil works, minimising operational disruption and supporting better whole-of-life value.

Leisure. Where creativity meets fun.
For water parks, leisure centres and community facilities, RenovAction can transform ageing pools into more interactive and engaging environments, introducing freeform shapes, spray parks and water play features.
Existing layouts can be reconfigured around the visitor experience, creating spaces that are more immersive, enjoyable and suitable for users across different age groups. The modular system also facilitates future upgrades without requiring work across the entire pool structure.

Hospitality. Design, value, identity.
In hotels, resorts and wellness destinations, RenovAction offers an effective way to upgrade existing pools while improving functionality, comfort and visual appeal.
Myrtha’s design flexibility allows shapes, depths and finishes to be redefined to meet changing operational requirements or evolving architectural styles. The system helps preserve the value of existing assets while reducing the duration and operational impact of upgrade works.
