Aaron works across the Upper Midwest, coordinating Myrtha’s sales activities in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana and Michigan. He brings extensive experience in aquatics, developed through his background as a competitive swimmer in Illinois and during his university years at the University of Wisconsin. After completing a degree in journalism and history, he built a long-standing career at the Daily Herald in suburban Chicago, where he led award-winning high school sports coverage for over 25 years before joining Myrtha in 2019.
In recent years, his involvement in aquatics has continued to grow, both professionally and personally, including supporting two children active in competitive swimming and water polo. He also coaches age-group swimming in the Chicago area with Reach Aquatics, competes in open-water events and contributes to Myrtha’s public communication through the monthly Off The Blocks newsletter. He combines his professional role with a passion for fly fishing, often taking advantage of site visits to pursue it, with at least one trout caught in each of the states under his responsibility.
