Myrtha Pools rides the wave of surf innovation at ADRENA Red Sea
Some projects confirm a company’s capabilities, while others define the next frontier. For Myrtha Pools, ADRENA does both. Developed by Red Sea Global as the centerpiece of a large-scale adventure district on Saudi Arabia’s western coastline, the ADRENA Surf Lagoon is more than a wave pool. It is a controlled body of water, engineered by Myrtha Pools and Endless Surf to deliver consistent, high-performance waves.
The ADRENA district is designed to redefine leisure through sport, a destination where adrenaline and architecture come together against one of the world’s most striking natural backdrops.
At its core is the Endless Surf lagoon: over 200 meters long, powered by Endless Surf technology, and capable of producing consistent, programmable waves exceeding two meters in height. What sets this facility apart from conventional wave pools is not just its scale. ADRENA operates using treated seawater drawn directly from the Red Sea through a closed-loop system. The result is enhanced buoyancy and realism, delivering the authentic feel of ocean surfing within a fully controlled environment.
With 46 underwater lights extending sessions into the evening, the lagoon functions as both an immersive experience and a high-performance venue. Myrtha Pools was responsible for the lagoon’s structure and waterproofing system, based on Myrtha Skin technology, which serves as the foundation of the entire experience. The project once again demonstrates its ability to ensure durability and water clarity, even in a large-scale seawater environment. ADRENA is not the end of the story. It is just the first wave of 2026, with many more to come.
