David W. Doomey has taken a vibrant background in business, sales and marketing and has applied them to the kinetic pool-building climate in and around California. An Orange County native, David excelled as a high school football player, delivering a key role on the first team to achieve an undefeated season in California Interscholastic Federation action with Irvine High School. David later earned his business degree at Vanguard University before stints as a sales manager with Oakley and a longer run with Vans as a marketing manager.
All of that led to the current sustained engagement with Myrtha, where David's impact has been key to introducing our various technologies and how they can best be accessed, particularly by pool builders in the massive public sector of his home state, and especially via our important prominent presence at the annual CASH conference. Steady currents in his life include an abiding love for snowboarding and many other outdoors sports, and most recently, tending to his growing family. Speaking of family, do not confuse David W. Doomey with David A. Doomey - the latter, also a key Myrtha contributor, is David W.'s father.
