Following a much-decorated career in the pool, SĂ©bastien retired from competitive swimming in 2016 and transitioned into technical sales. Even then, he continued to stay connected to the aquatic world through coaching, which helped lead him to Myrtha Pools and joining our effort in 2020. Early success in the sales group led to his current leadership role with an emphasis on managing our performance in the Western states. Having competed in numerous Myrtha pools during his competitive career, he was drawn to Myrtha Pools because of their commitment to high-level performance, reflecting the demanding and competitive environment he grew up in during his swimming career.
Due to his start date, he holds the record at Myrtha Pools for the longest period between starting with the company and visiting the company HQ in Castiglione delle Stiviere. A three-time Olympian competing for his native South Africa and a two-time NCAA champ at Florida, Sebastien now spends time with the chief pursuits in his life – wife Holly and two young children – in their home turf in the Denver area.
