Nhow Hotel Milan
Imagine relaxing in an extraordinary hotel pool with a crystal-transparent wall and a cascading, overflow edge. Further imagine, you’re high above the ground, overlooking the skyline of Milan and experiencing a feeling of excitement, suspense and maybe just a touch of vertigo! This is the experience that awaits guests at the Vertigo Terrace, the new attraction of the Nhow Hotel in Milan. The Nhow Hotel is a design and fashion hub located in a former industrial complex built in the 1920s by the General Electric Company. The building was redeveloped in the early 2000s, preserving its original features and adding 250 rooms and various entertainment attractions.
Designed by Park Associati architecture studio and brought to life by Myrtha Pools, the Vertigo Terrace is the latest addition to the hotel. The terrace covers 750 square metres and can host up to 200 people. It includes a cocktail area, restaurant, rooftop bar, solarium, and (of course) the breathtaking Myrtha pool. The infinity pool is the highlight of the terrace, with its 28-metre transparent wall and a depth of 30 cm on one side and 1.2 metres on the other. This showcase of pool design also features seven windows in the pool floor that create a thrilling effect of floating above the city below.

Cutting-Edge Pool
The pool was designed, engineered, and built using Myrtha Pools’ innovative technologies, which promise quick installation, reduced costs, and lower environmental impact compared to traditional concrete pools. The astonishing pool is clad in orange mosaic tiles that contrast the galvanised structures, fair-faced concrete, and glass facades of the terrace. The terrace also features two circular Myrtha pools of shallow depth, ideal for cooling off and relaxing on a hot, sunny day.
Panoramic Views, Vintage Vibes
The colour scheme of the project evokes the industrial pop style of the 1960s, while the lighting terrace’s and pool area’s lighting creates a dynamic and captivating atmosphere. The Vertigo Terrace is a brilliant space that offers a stunning view of Milan and its nearby mountains. It is open all year round to both hotel guests and external visitors. It is a perfect place to enjoy a drink, a meal, or a swim in a one-of-a-kind, fascinating environment.
