Natalijas Draudzinas School

Some institutions earn their place in a city's identity not through spectacle, but through consistent service. Natalijas Draudziņa School is one of them.

Founded over 130 years ago in the heart of the Latvian capital, it has long stood as a pillar of education and physical culture, a role reflected in its aquatic centre, originally opened in 1982.

In 2026, that legacy entered a new phase. Through Myrtha’s RenovAction technology, the indoor dual-pool complex was comprehensively upgraded, enhancing performance, safety and long-term reliability while preserving the existing structure. At the heart of the facility is a 25-metre competition pool equipped with Myrtha Track Start blocks, ensuring precision and consistency for training and school use. Alongside it, a dedicated learn-to-swim pool provides a warmer and more controlled environment, supporting early-stage aquatic education.

The intervention, delivered in collaboration with our local dealer Spa Servisa Centrs, reflects a balanced approach, respecting the original facility while aligning it with contemporary standards of water quality, safety and usability.
