The Dijon Olympic Center is an ambitious project conceived to supply a 360° utilisation.
In this context Myrtha Pools has been able to meet the project purpose, building the pools of the center. Pools are:
- A 10 lane olympic pool 50x25m, variable depth 2.0-2.5-3.0m, built combining Myrtha and RenovAction technologies, with overflow gutter on the long sides and skimmer on the shorts.
- A learn-to-swim pool 25×12m, variable depth from 0.90 to 1.35m, provided with access ramp, beach entry and handrail, built using Myrtha technology overflow gutter on the long sides and skimmer on the shorts.
- A leisure pool 10,5×12.50m, variable depth from 0.60 to 0.90m, provided with access ramp and beach entry. Built using Myrtha technology structural overflow gutter on the long sides and skimmer on the shorts.
- Two scuba diving pools of 6 and 20m.
This facility can accommodate all kind of public, from professional swimmers to beginner children, from private citizens to swimming clubs, from people with disabilities to schools and scuba diving desirous to exercise in real conditions.
The center is provided with a wellness area (steam bath and Turkish bath) and with a 3.5hectares accessible lawn. Opened on May 2010, the center has been built to satisfy the needs of a wide public looking for a sports and wellness facility. The complex respects the environment and insists on renewable energies. In fact the center has been planning according to High Environmental Quality requirements and in this context Myrtha Pools guaranteed the respect of all the required standards.
