On the shores of Lake Como, The Lake Como EDITION redefines wellness through a balance of architecture, technology and ritual.
Designed by Neri&Hu, the project draws inspiration from the region’s neoclassical villas and the traditions of ancient Roman baths, creating an environment in which science-based diagnostics and holistic practices come together in a contemporary wellness experience. Myrtha Pools’ contribution extends throughout the property, from the arrival experience in the lobby to the indoor vitality pool and wellness facilities at the heart of the spa, as well as the hotel’s outdoor pool overlooking the lake.
The Myrtha signature begins before guests even reach the spa. In the lobby, a fountain pool designed and installed by Myrtha introduces the property’s wellness narrative from the moment of arrival, translating the same precision and material language found throughout the spa into a compact architectural gesture.
The indoor vitality pool by Myrtha Pools forms the centrepiece of the spa. Behind its understated elegance lies a sophisticated system incorporating twelve hydromassage seats and four stainless-steel loungers, all positioned beside floor-to-ceiling glazing overlooking the lake.

Every detail contributes to the atmosphere of the space. The Myrtha stainless-steel structure and concealed overflow edge, both finished in Laminam, complement a palette of blue and pearl-blue ceramics that reflects the ever-changing shades of the surrounding water. SoftFloor technology enhances both comfort and safety, whilst black stainless-steel panels add a refined character that integrates seamlessly with Neri&Hu’s architectural design.
The Myrtha Wellness journey continues with a plunge pool, an ice fountain, a Finnish sauna and a herbal sauna crafted from hemlock wood. The experience is completed by a steam bath and two emotional showers designed and installed by Myrtha Wellness: one recreates the effect of a gentle breeze, whilst the other delivers a tropical cascade enriched with aromatic essences.
Beyond the spa, Myrtha’s contribution also extends to the hotel’s outdoor pool, a floating swimming pool positioned directly at the water’s edge and facing Lake Como. As part of the property’s transformation, Myrtha refurbished the pool, providing guests with an outdoor counterpart to the indoor vitality experience, framed by one of Italy’s most iconic lake views.
More than a collection of wellness facilities, the Longevity Spa is a project shaped by the relationship between place, materiality and wellbeing. Across the lobby fountain pool, the indoor spa and the refurbished outdoor pool, Myrtha’s modular technology demonstrates its versatility within an architectural setting where thermal traditions, contemporary design and advanced wellness solutions coexist in balance.
