Aaron operates across the Upper Midwest, overseeing Myrtha’s sales activities in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana and Michigan. He brings a strong background in aquatics, having competed in swimming from an early age in Illinois and throughout his time at the University of Wisconsin. After graduating in journalism and history, he spent more than 25 years at the Daily Herald in suburban Chicago, where he managed award-winning coverage of school sport before joining Myrtha in 2019.
His connection to aquatics has remained consistent in recent years, both professionally and personally, including supporting two children involved in competitive swimming and water polo. He also coaches age-group swimmers in the Chicago area with Reach Aquatics, competes in open-water events and contributes to Myrtha’s external communication through the monthly Off The Blocks newsletter. Alongside his work, he maintains a strong interest in fly fishing, often combining it with site visits and reporting at least one trout caught in each of the states within his area.
