In Liguria, in the lush area of Bordighera, Myrtha Pools has renovated the outdoor swimming pool of the Grand Hotel del Mare Resort.
This is a circular pool with a diameter of 13.50 metres, previously built in reinforced concrete, which had water leakage problems. In order to work on the filtration system without demolishing the structure, Myrtha Pools used its special RenovAction technology, which allowed for significant savings in terms of time and maintenance costs: the pool was restored in just 15 working days.
Specifically, RenovAction technology made it possible to work under the overflow channel, which was temporarily suspended to allow for the installation of all the water circulation pipes, the lighting ducts and the wall accessories. After the subsequent perimeter filling of the wall below the overflow channel, the existing flooring was reused. Finally, to reduce the overall volume of water, the bottom of the pool was raised in the diving area.
