Together with aquatic consultants Brandstetter-Carroll and installers DWR Aquatics, Myrtha Pools transformed the 30-year-old pool at the YMCA Hopkins County into a modern aquatic facility.
The refurbishment combined Myrtha and Renovaction technologies to upgrade the existing 25-yard, six-lane competition pool, now fitted with new starting blocks, and to introduce a new ramp to enhance accessibility.
A warmer learn-to-swim pool was also built next to the main basin. This new pool features a Myrtha skimmer system and includes stairs, making it an ideal environment for children and therapy programmes. Together, the two pools allow the YMCA to serve the community with a versatile, sustainable and future-ready aquatics centre.
