Project enquiry

John Hopkins University

The Newton White Athletic Centre Natatorium at Johns Hopkins University has undergone a renovation by Myrtha.

Following the successful completion of Phase One in 2023, which added a stationary Myrtha bulkhead, Phase Two focused on a full refurbishment of the pool tank. With RenovAction technology, the ageing concrete pool was upgraded without requiring demolition, cutting both time and costs. The original tiled interior walls were replaced with Myrtha stainless-steel panels, offering a modern and low-maintenance solution.

The bulkhead was also converted into a movable system, allowing smooth transitions between a 25-yard course, a 25-metre course, a water polo configuration, and other uses. The project was developed with aquatic consultant WTI and completed by Myrtha distributor Main Line Commercial Pools.
