First entering the UK market in mid 90s, Myrtha Pools is a market leader in the aquatics industry with innovative pool design, breakthrough technology and a game-changing approach to sustainability.

Working with local authorities, leisure operators and hospitality and entertainment providers, we are a one-stop-shop. We deliver modern solutions that help to transform traditional leisure facilities, with the complete design, manufacture, build, and installation process managed by our expert team. We partner with a select list of UK-based distributors, including FT Leisure and Barr + Wray, as well as working with leading contractors and architects – such as Willmott Dixon, Morgan Sindall, GT3 Architects and Space & Place – to help bring our visions to life.

Our mission is to modernise the UK leisure sector, with a sustainable agenda leading the way to deliver range of benefits to the UK aquatics industry. Utilising an MMC approach, our stainless steel solutions therefore offer a 45% smaller carbon footprint than traditional methods of construction – which use tile and concrete – and cost savings of up to 20%.

A proud partner of World Aquatics (formerly FINA) as well as Swim England and the STA, we are passionate about implementing swimming safety standards. BREEAM, LEED and Green Star approved, our commitment to excellence is reinforced through the delivery of innovative pool solutions for six Olympic Games, with World Aquatics endorsement.

A country of firsts

The UK holds many exclusive accolades within the leisure and hospitality industry to its name. We are proud to have delivered right here in the UK the world’s very first deck support system – a Myrtha structure that is self-supporting while also propping the pool surround structure. This was delivered in conjunction with our partners Willmott Dixon, Pick Everard and distributors FT Leisure, who helped bring this specific vision to life for Ripon Leisure Centre in Harrogate as part of a £10.2m infrastructural upgrade.

With a new 25m pool, helping deliver a 70% increase in water recreation space, you can see this vision come to life in our video.

At the forefront of global standards

In 2023, Myrtha Pools will deliver the very first Passivhaus leisure centre in the UK in Spelthorne, Surrey, delivered with GT3 Architects and Willmott Dixon. Passivhaus is a growing standard that is driving significant improvements in building energy demands, performance gap, comfort and quality. Myrtha is proud to be at the forefront of this initiative, which is actively contributing to the development of global net zero ambitions.
